We had reservations, when we got there the lights were off on half of the island. The restaurant was bathed in candle light. They told us they were open. Wall the windows were open and a soft breeze was cooling the room. The waiter arrived with a flash light strap on his head. It was darling. The food was cooked to perfection (by candle light) The kitchen is all gas. The wine was perfect and the service was joyeous. What a wonderful experience. Can't wait to go back. The owner/chef, Lezlie, came to our tableand told us all about the restaurant. It was great.

We went to this place based soley on trip advisor reviews. We were so happy that we went! This place does not look like much for the outside (not like those touristy trap places) and it is also not much on the inside. A small restraunt with tables and chairs. But the two brothers who own this place SURE CAN COOK!! We went there for breakfast the first time and the prices were super cheap and the food was delicious! Our waitress was wonderful and we were all stuffed when we left. You can tell that everything is homemade and that the two cooks really care about what their food tastes like. The presentation was also cute. They were little orange wedges on every plate and a sprig of parsely. I thought that was a nice touch. The other thing we REALLY liked about this restraunt is that there was NO SMOKING inside. THANK GOODNESS!!! I cannot stand the smell of smoke, especially when I am eating, not to mention our 3 year old was traveling with us. So that was a huge plus for us! We liked it so much we went back for lunch a couple of days later and got the lunch special (which was $5.99, I think) and you got a HUGE chicken fried chicken w gravy, two sides, a salad or soup and bread....it was a ton of food for the price! Also, the chickens breading was SOOOO good and they bread it to order, so it was fresh! They even had free bread pudding for dessert. Overall, I was so pleased with this restraunt. If I lived there I would eat there all of the time. The food was fresh, the service was friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant. Clean bathrooms, too!

We went to Lisabella's based on the great reviews on Tripadvisor and we were not disappointed. The food and service was fabulous! The warm goat cheese appetizer was so good. I had the filet and shrimp with polenta which was pricey ($34), but absolutely worth it! The steak was cooked perfectly, and the gulf shrimp hit the spot. My mom had the seafood enchiladas which were surprisingly sweet (in a good way) with the mango salsa. I would have liked it if they were a bit more spicy, but that's only because I like spicy food. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone coming to Port A and will absolutely be back!!

We are certainly not expert birdwatchers but saw a number of warblers and "land" birds that were new for our lists in addition to the expected sea birds. Peaceful little place, easy to park. Were there with our 1-year old and we did have to either carry her in our carrier or hold her hand as the boardwalk rails would be easy to fall through.
