An uninhabited island, St. Jo is located just north of Port Aransas. The island is approximately 28 miles long and is less than 2 miles wide at its widest point. It's a natural haven for fishermen and beach lovers. The Jetty Boat at Fisherman's Wharf is the only passenger ferry to St. Jo Island, leaves frequently. Be sure to take provisions along.
