Paddle in hand, this is truly one of the best ways to explore the inlets and waterways along the islands of the inter-coastal between Aransas Pass and Port Aransas, Tx.
It's easy to do and fun.
There's a trail called the Lighthouse Lakes Trail established by the Texas Parks and Wildlife department.

The Lighthouse Lakes Paddling Trail was the first Texas Paddling Trail, mapped in 1999.
Trail Length: The trail complex is made up of four trails ranging in length from 1.25 to 6.8 miles.
Paddling Time: 45 minutes to 3 hours depending upon the trail.
There's plenty of great refreshment in Port A when you get back to shore.
