An Easter to Remember in Port Aransas, Texas

Last updated 6 years ago

Sunrise Easter Sunday Service - Port Aransas will have a very special, interdenominational Easter Sunday sunrise service beginning at 6.45am, Easter Sunday, April 24.

The service will be a joint gathering of the Community Presbyterian Church, the First Baptist Church, St. Joseph Catholic Church and Trinity-by-the-Sea Episcopal Church. Services will begin at 6:45 a.m. under the Fred Rhodes Memorial Pavilion at Roberts Point Park.

The Port Aransas Rotary Club is sponsoring an Easter Egg hunt for all children ages 10 and younger at the City Community Park at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday. Visit the 1930's Chapel in the Dunes. After a fabulous Port A breakfast or lunch, take a walk out on the South Jetty and you just might get to see Kemp's Ridley sea turtles, dolphins and plenty of fishing going on.

For where to stay in Port Aransas, check out accommodations from luxury condos, private homes to easy-living beachfront digs.
